The best eye cream takes proper care of the skin around the eyes which is very delicate simply because (1) it it very thin and (2) it does not produce any oil.
Hence it tends to age very fast developing wrinkles onto it!
A good eye cream will not only prevent this future damage from inflicting you early in life, but also enhance your current appearance.
The best eye cream is one that:
has been tested by ophthalmologists to be safe to use near your eyes.
matches the pH level of your tears.
is free of fragrance.
is more emollient than regular moisturizers.
Various different kinds of eye creams are:
Day Creams: are often gels rather than creams taking care of:
Depuffing: through containing depuffing agents like caffeine, arnica, chamomile, and/or cucumber.
Puffiness comes from the eyes becoming bloated with water while you are sleeping. Depuffing agents work by slightly dehydrating your skin although they do so at the cost of turning skin dry and inviting wrinkles!
The best eye cream must take care of this anomaly.
Dark Circles Under Eyes: may be caused by broken capillaries or lack of sleep.
The best eye cream needs to be a retinol-based cream taking care of broken capillaries but the problem is that retinol is less effective in the sun, and can make your skin more sensitive to the sun.
No cream can ever take care of your lack of sleep, hence the only way out is to have an adequate sleep.
A short-term solution for dark circles is better using a good concealer than a cream.
Sunburns: The best eye cream must act as a sunscreen lotion too!
Night Creams: help repair your skin while you sleep.
The best eye cream for night either uses AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) or retinol, both of which are more effective at night than during the day in the sun.
Anytime Creams: can be used anytime whether during the day or at night.
The best eye cream that is used anytime nourishes the skin as well as enhances the appearance.
Basically they are emollient creams that moisturize your eyes.
The best eye cream may have other kinds of categorization as well depending on its performance, like the nourishing cream, the moisturizer, the sunscreen cream, anti-wrinkle cream, dark under eye circle cream, bleaching cream, anti-septic cream et cetera et cetera.
While applying the cream, you should always begin from the inside corner of your eye, and move outwards up.
Why outwards up and why not inwards down?
Because outwards up is the sweep of the centrally fixated, energetic eye with a spark of luster into it and if such eyes are there with their third eye open; they are, in themselves, way more beautiful than even the best eye cream can make them look!
Vision therapy brings that spark and luster into the eyes that turns them looking the most attractive ones power-wise as well as peace-wise into themselves, even without any cream. And then if the best eye cream is there too, applied on them, that's simply cherry on the cake!
And remember, health is beauty. Having a healthy pair of sparkling and shining eyes through vision therapy is better than having the best eye cream applied on your eyes; but then, of course yes, the cream does work as the cherry on the cake in its own stead.
