Posting to third eye bloglet - Page 62 - Eyelid Lift : September 28, 2007.
The date-wise archives of third eye bloglet about eyes, mind, sex, science, and society turned into web pages. Page 62 makes a real interesting reading:
Eyelid lift is what connects the body to the mind.
The way we lift our eyelids, decides what emotion we are in.
Or the emotion we are in, decides how we shall lift our eyelids.
Generally individuals are having a complex array of a combination of emotions that they normally live in.
Whatever the variations in their individual psyche are, are minor deviations from this personal array only.
So, normally an individual has her/his own personally peculiar eyelid lift that s/he lives and interacts with.
And that is what gives different expressions to different individual eyes.
It not only gives different expressions to different individual eyes but also to different individual faces.
And it not only gives different expressions to different individual faces but also TENDS to give a different individual posture to different individual bodies.
Rather it DOES, in the due course of time!
Now let us take a break here. What I am telling you right now in these lines is written there in no book of knowledge on earth. It is what I myself deduced after a long, painstaking research on my own and my volunteers' bodies.
The habitual lift of the eyelid has a connection not only with the mind but also with the time we are focused at.
It may be distant past, recent past, immediate future, distant past or the very present, i.e., right now - here!
With 'right now', it is 'here' also; meaning thereby that it is not only linked to time but to space also. The right lift of the eyelid makes us see one single point in space more vivid and clear than the vicinity around.
It makes us focused at one single point in time and at one single point in space.
But that is when the said lift is a perfect one without any unhealthy distortion into it.
OK, over with our break now!
The habitual kind of eyelid lift decides the posture that the body is going to be set in, in the due course of time.
Now, this individual habitual kind of eyelid lift is what the habitual pattern of an individual mind is.
Body tends to acquire a habitual posture due to the kind of mind it has.
Or due to the kind of lift that it normally opens its eyelids with!
But then the body posture that has been acquired over the due course of time TENDS to keep the eyelid lift and the mind the way they are.
A vicious circle of status quo gets established and maintained by the interaction and counter-interaction among the three variants of the human mind body system.
It is this vicious circle of status quo that resists any permanent healthy change in the diseased humanity that we all are the members of.
Now, these are the three points that we are dealing with:
The body posture
The eyelid lift
The mind
I will start discussing in my next post how the three affect one another and with what results.
