Fatigue

Posting to third eye bloglet - My Story Page 15 - Fatigue : 29th October, 2006.

The datewise archives of third eye bloglet - My Story : My Date with My Body - about eyes, mind, sex, science, and society turned into web pages. My Story Page 15 makes a real interesting reading:

eyes

I had decided, I would repeat the experiment with changing the thrust of my feet along with my legs this time.

I did.

First I sensed where the habitual thrust of gravity caused by the weight of my body was centered on my feet.

I found it centered along the outer edges of my feet.

Let me change it to the inner ones, I thought.

eyes

And I did.

My hips went up protruding backwards.

The Snellen chart went clearer but not perfectly.

This time I gave my hips another push back and something stretched my whole body this time.

The Snellen chart had gone absolutely clear!

What was this second push like?

In fact, it had turned the thrust of my hands too, toward the mount of Venus, i.e., inside.

So, shall we keep both these thrusts inside in our normal course of action, every moment?

Or, shall we keep our hips protruded backwards with the help of two distinct pushes?

I tried both for good durations of time, but they tired me.

And tired 'what' in me the most?

The temporomandibular joint!

Why was it getting fatigued?

And as it got fatigued, the clarity of vision went reducing too!

The eyes got tired!

Although they still saw quite clear, but with effort after they got tired; and so, they went sleepy too!

It made me feel like sleeping more.

I started pondering on the question of getting fatigued.

Why do we get tired after all?

What is it that is basically responsible for tiring us?

Why are there some people who work so much and still don't get or look fatigued?

And why are there some other who hardly do anything and immediately get fatigued?

What is the physiology and/or the psychology of fatigue?

A whole new chapter had opened up in front of me, and I had to solve this question in order to solve my problem of the temporomandibular joint getting fatigued in the pursuit of seeing clear!

My Story seems like entering a new phase, promising to break new grounds altogether!

We'll set out on a new journey next week pondering deep onto the question of getting fatigued as well as how this fatigue affects our vision along with other physiological functions of the body system!
