The Attitude of a Goth

Here are a few gothic makeup tips for your perusal, but follow them only if you really have the true attitude of a goth.

You can't look a goth unless you are a real one!

Goth is an attitude more than a makeup.

When the real spirit is there, whatever you do as far as the makeup is concerned, it will automatically fall in line with the spirit. But if it is the other way round, your gothic makeup tips that you got, will be mocking at your own self!

If you are not a goth but try to look like one through wearing a gothic makeup, you will simply become a laughing stock.

So, try to filter out the attitude of a goth from the following gothic makeup tips:

• First you must color your face pale, but not with a lot of white makeup.

  Use a pale foundation and apply a light color translucent powder.

  A baby powder will do the job best!

  Do not over-powder your face and do not stop your make-up at your jaw line. Try to blend it deep down your neck.

  And don't let these gothic makeup tips make you a blind follower of them in a mechanical way!

• Use a black liquid eyeliner on your eyelids.

• Use a charcoal eyeliner pencil on your lips as a lip-liner too.

• Choose from amongst the most uncommon shades of lipsticks, say, a deep purple, a bright red or simply the pitch dark yet soft black that doesn't shine! A mat finish should do!

  Remember; you don't have to follow these gothic makeup tips like a puppet!

• Duplicate the color on your lips and on your long nails too.

• Wear all black!

• Let long hair fall loose!

• Use smoky eye shadows.

• How about fishnet stockings and black leather bodices? Do you have the real goth attitude?

• Remember; use of rubber, leather and a few metal studs on your outfit adds to its ghoulish enchantment but it shouldn't eat up on your natural and fun-loving innocence.

• The aroma that your perfume imparts to your body must have a hypnotic spell into it. Have you ever been to the Valley of Flowers in India and taken in the mesmerizing aroma of the wild flowers around through your nose? Try once if you can!

• And the last comes the most important point of all the gothic makeup tips listed over here.

What are your eyes saying?

What language are they speaking?

Do they have the glow, the luster, and the sparkle in them that kills?

That gives you a totally carefree, yet the most caring attitude on earth in the true goth spirit!

What about that luster and sparkle of health in the eye that imparts a shining beauty to the eyeball giving it a marked edge over all the best makeup on earth you could go for!

Going for vision therapy may do the needful as far as the glow in the eye is concerned. The human race has not yet learnt how to look at something or someone with full interest of the eye in it or in her/him. Once it does that, not only the thing or the person turns beautiful but also the eye that is looking at, does!

And it's all a concrete physical affair, not only an abstract mental one! The mind does go subservient to the body! More so to the eyes!!
