Posting to third eye bloglet - My Story Page 8 - Grin : 11th September, 2006.
The datewise archives of third eye bloglet - My Story : My Date with My Body - about eyes, mind, sex, science, and society turned into web pages. My Story Page 8 makes a real interesting reading:
As I woke up, the first thing I did was to check if my face could still stretch the same way as it had done the last night, or not.
It could! And I was not at all tired any more!
I kept playing with the new maneuver, my body had unconsciously learned doing.
Then I dropped myself into my old habitual disposition kept gazing at the Snellen chart with my old blur in my vision.
Suddenly, my daughter entered the room. I smiled at her with a wide grin on my lips.
And o my God, again the letters on the Snellen chart were all clear to me!
I froze my expression then and there.
Right then, my daughter said something really exciting to me.
I immediately got extremely interested in what she was saying.
But a part of my mind was noticing that not only my grin was still there on my lips, but there was an extra glow that entered my eyes as I started fondly listening to the exciting piece of matter my daughter had started narrating to me.
And it was but natural for me that I turn them toward the Snellen chart again.
Good God Great! Crystal clear!! Every single spec of dirt even!!!
I kept my eyes open and kept looking at whatsoever around with a great awe into them.
Then I closed them but let the grin be there.
As I opened them again, the extra clarity was no more there but the clarity got through the grin was maintaining itself.
I started narrowing down my grin.
The clarity went on giving way to the old habitual blur of the vision again.
I widened the grin another time.
The clarity followed obediently.
But what about that extra clarity, and that sparkling glow in the eyes?
I imagined being interestedly excited and lo, it was there again!
I tried to maintain it but it demanded a lot of my energy.
I kept it.
I kept keeping it!
I slipped back and then repeated once more, and then so many times more; every time with the same degree of success.
But alas, I couldn't figure out what my body or my face was doing in order to get that extra clarity and that extra glow in my eyes.
Still the grin was working fine. It was at least making it 20/20 if not that 40/20 clarity which that glow in the eyes had given to my vision.
But was this going to be the way we would need looking at thing in?
Certainly not!
We can't keep a grin, and that too a real wide one, on our lips all the 24 hours long!
Something was still getting missed somewhere.
In fact, not only something but a lot many things!
And not only somewhere but at a lot many points in the body!
God! What do I do?
I cooled myself to keep my patience and strayed away to something else.
