Hands

Posting to third eye bloglet - My Story Page 14 - Hands : 22nd October, 2006.

The datewise archives of third eye bloglet - My Story : My Date with My Body - about eyes, mind, sex, science, and society turned into web pages. My Story Page 14 makes a real interesting reading:

eyes

There were so many things that were moving inside my skull!

First of all, it was the temporomandibular joint, which was responsible for moving my ears as well.

Then, of course the lips!

All the muscles around the eyes, on the nose, on the cheeks in the outer parts of the jaws, and on the forehead having its effect up to the top and the back of the head!

eyes

And then my new-developed sensitivity discovered that even my hands as well as my feet were being affected too!

They were changing their orientation from being outer-side-centered to being inner-side-centered.

What a difficult language!

In fact the intricate nature of the experience I am describing is making the language so intricate too!

I will try to clarify it.

Sitting on a chair, place your hands on a table in front of you in a (so-called) relaxed way and try to sense their thrust having its weight centered on the table.

You will discover, it is there on the mount of Mars on the palm, just behind the smallest finger.

But I started finding it shifting toward the mount of Venus, with a similar shift in the thrust of feet as well.

Suddenly an idea came to my mind.

I dropped my face and skull in their old habitual orientation back, and changed the thrust of my hands along with my arms in their new-experienced orientation by turning them inside as much as I could do.

And lo! The face and the skull automatically came back to their newfound orientation.

Everything in the upper part of my body had gone absolutely taut with a shining glow in my eyes!

But my hands and my arms had gone unnaturally twisted.

It was not easy to keep them like that for long!

Although I had reached a step nearer to solving the riddle, the riddle seemed to appear as unsolved as it was when it had presented itself to me the very first time on 12th of December, 2004.

But I was not ready to give up!

I decided, I would repeat the experiment with changing the thrust of my feet along with my legs this time.
