I picked up another thread and recited 'OM' aloud.

Yes, my eyes read the Snellen chart right!

Clear!!

Was I going spiritual?

No, I could never go in my whole life!

Since my childhood - as far back as I remember - I could never have any kind of faith in such a vague thing as a supernatural power running the whole system of the universe!

OM is recognized as the sound of the third eye chakra.

And it was making my vision clear.

So, was this the secret of my instant vision correction?

That meant I would have to stay with my lips always squeezed like that:

Oh no!

It would amount to becoming a laughing stock for the people around!

I went deeper into the study of chakras.

What was it that OM was doing to my eyes?

Was it changing their anatomical structure?

Or, was it changing their physiology?

Was OM actuating some special muscles that were doing something to the eyeball?

The available literature did not mention any damn thing about it.

It only talked of its spiritual connotations.

Very very vague!

And then I remembered that a wide grin on my lips had shown the Snellen chart to me crystal-clear too:

But those lips were just the opposite of these lips reciting OM:

These were squeezed and those were stretched!

Both were correcting the vision instantaneously!

But then, how could one stay with a grin, and that too a real wide one, on one's face or lips all the 24 hours?

No, no, there was something awry somewhere!

Only that I was not able to catch it at its root!

I dwelt deeper into chakras...
